The Daly Rink was built in 1966 by the Massachusetts Metropolitan District Commission (MDC); coincidentally, 1966 was the first year Bobby Orr played for the Boston Bruins.
Daly Rink offers skate sharpening using the Maximum Edge skate finishing system. Maximum Edge is the skate sharpening system used by the past 20 National Hockey League Stanley Cup winners.
Daly Rink offers 14 hours of public skating every week. Admission is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children. The ice is resurfaced every hour, on the hour.
